Pairing Disney Ears with Outfits
A main challenge that strikes most of us when going on holiday to a Disney park is- What ears do I wear and how do I style them?
I have quite a collection of Disney ears, both custom made and from the Disney parks. In my opinion I prefer the custom made ears as they are more comfortable to wear and they can be made to any theme you would wish.
One of my favourite pairs of custom Disney ears are these Beauty and the Beast inspired ones made by Natasha from Ears Ever After (EEA).

I am a massive fan of these ears due to the design. The Mrs Potts and Chip fabric used to make the ears is really high quality and the pattern is so cute. I love the sparkly bow as its a really nice colour, it's an unusual shade of pink and it goes well with the pink within the main design fabric. I would pair this pair of ears with a cropped leg jumpsuit for visiting the Disney parks. One I have found that is ideal for me is this Cropped Leg Jumpsuit from boohoo.com.
As I have previously mentioned I am plus size so finding comfy fashionable clothes to go around the parks in is sometimes a challenge. I have found a friend in jumpsuits recently. They are comfy, fashionable and don't make you too hot when you wear them. I know the main downside of wearing a jumpsuit is that it is not the easiest to wear when going to the bathroom. I think that the more you wear them the more you come up with a routine of how to get them on and off with ease. Also a big plus of this jumpsuit is the cropped trousers, they are knee length which means you avoid rubbing on your legs while walking around the parks which will really be a god send. Another benefit is that the material is not tight against the skin on the legs this will allow you to be cooler as well walking around the parks. Wearing this jumpsuit in the khaki colour also allows the ears to stand out. As khaki is a muted colour it will allow the ears to be the spotlight of the outfit. For this outfit I also have a bag to go with it. I would pair the Chip backpack from Primark with this outfit. I think this backpack would go extremely well as it matches Chip in the ears. This backpack was £12 to buy and I think this is great value as it is surprisingly roomy! Currently, the backpack is reduced to £8 which in my opinion is a steal!! Here is a picture of the backpack:

A second pair of ears I have an outfit for is the pink leopard print ears that are available to buy from Disney's Animal Kingdom. I wore this outfit when I went to Walt Disney World (WDW) in October last year and I loved wearing it. These ears are one of the comfiest to wear that are available from the Disney Parks. The material that they are made from is softer than the usual ears. Here is a picture of the ears:
One top I loved wearing with these ears is this flamingo top available from Simply Be:
One thing I would advise if you were to purchase this top is to size up 2 sizes. The top seems to be very small made and does not have any stretch. I paired this top with a pair of cropped leggings for comfort. Here is an image of myself in the outfit in the Magic Kingdom after a morning at Animal Kingdom:
As always, every outfit would just be paired with trainers. I don't feel like there is any other footwear that would be bearable for walking round the parks. The trainers I have are black and this is more a hindrance than a benefit. The only benefit of having black trainers is that they go with everything and you don't need to worry about your shoes not going with your outfit. The hindrance is that black is the colour that draws in the heat so your feet become very warm and at some points in WDW I could feel the burning ground through my shoes.
So there you have it, this is two examples of how I like to pair Disney ears with outfits! I hope this post has given you some inspiration on how to pair your Disney ears with wearable, fashionable outfits for the park.
